Although Alpine Design's most popular colors for conservatories & greenhouses are Verdigris or Sage Green & Ink Black every model can be powder coated in the full spectrum of RAL colors.
No conservatory or greenhouse installation is not complete without exterior landscaping. Adding to the presence of your conservatory or greenhouse with exterior hardscape, flowers, bushes & lighting is a consideration for every project. We work with a number of affiliate landscape designers on every project to help you complete your architectural vision.
Optimizing your site work, foundation type & flooring material selection for thermal impact should be one of your most important considerations. We universally recommend landscape pavers with a gravel base to optimize both thermal & drainage performance. With a large variety of sizes, colors & finishes, landscape pavers will complement any design aesthetic.
While one of the primary benefits of conservatories/greenhouses is being able to bathe in natural sunlight, we always recommend an electrical package to provide any number of lighting & power options for your needs. With a number of use types, outlets & light boxes configured to your needs are a must have & only extend the use of your conservatory or greenhouse for night time enjoyment.
Optimizing sitework, foundation, flooring, glazing & ventilation for thermal performance is critical in mitigating the need for advanced climate control features. While we strive to provide a comfortable seasonal climate in every conservatory & greenhouse, sometimes due to location & interests there is an outstanding benefit to supplemental heating & cooling via HVAC additions.
From single, double or even triple pane glass to steel sheeting, selecting the right glazing application for your conservatory or greenhouse is critical & will have the greatest impact on it's thermal performance. We take into consideration a number of variables when helping you select the optimal glazing package, from location & orientation to roof profile & primary use case. Moderating temperature swings & lengthening the seasonality of your greenhouse or conservatory’s use is our focus.
No single project is identical & a number of environmental factors come into consideration when selecting the best foundation type for your conservatory or greenhouse. Geotechnical assessments will often have to be made along with considerations for drainage & erosion control. Foundation types can often have an adverse impact on the interior climate of your conservatory or greenhouse & we apply our diverse experience to help select the best foundation for your location.
Your lifestyle & uses of your conservatory or greenhouse will factor into understanding the types of features you’ll want to enjoy. While some of our customers appreciate an off grid experience, we typically recommend an electrical package to support interior outlets & night time lighting. Adding the option for electrical & water features is a consideration we always recommend to provide you with flexibility for decades to come.
